Classroom Policies

Guidelines for a Respectful and Successful Learning Environment

Class Values

  • We value and respect ourselves, our classmates, our teachers, and our learning environment.

  • We take responsibility for our learning, actions, and belongings. We come to class prepared, complete assignments on time, and actively engage in our studies.

  • We love facing challenges, never giving up when things get tough, and know that hard work and always trying our best can make us even better.

Attendance Expectations

All students are expected to attend each class session, arriving on time and staying for the entire duration of the class. Absences should be kept to a minimum, and students should make a sincere effort to attend all classes.

Make Up Work

Students are responsible for obtaining missed assignments, lecture notes, and any other materials or announcements shared during their absence. It is the student's responsibility to make arrangements with the instructor to complete any missed assignments or quizzes within a reasonable time frame.

Uniform

All students are required to wear the correct and proper uniform, including the PE kit, during school hours. This helps create a sense of unity and pride within our school community. Students should come to school dressed neatly in the designated uniform, following the guidelines provided by the school. Adherence to the uniform policy promotes a positive learning environment and ensures equality among students.

Homework/ Classwork Expectations

Students are expected to complete all assigned homework and classwork tasks on time. This includes submitting completed assignments by the designated deadlines and actively participating in in-class activities. It is important to come prepared to class with all necessary materials and actively engage in the learning process. Regular completion of homework and classwork promotes a deeper understanding of the subject matter and reinforces the concepts covered in class. Failure to adhere to this policy may impact overall academic progress and performance.
